Events: Kauwila is an excellent choice for your private party, house blessing, wedding, or other gathering. Friendly and outgoing, Kauwila brings a presence of tranquility and joy and light to any get together. He has played for events ranging from small intimate dinner parties, to large gatherings of several hundred people. Flexible and with a positive attitude, he works with you to fit in with what your group needs.
Hotels and Dining Establishments: Kauwila can be the perfect background musical companion for your hotel, restaurant, resort, or coffee shop. With Kauwila's gentle music as a backdrop, customers and guests can enjoy their meals, coffee, and conversation in the presence of his soothing Hawaiian vocals and relaxing slack key guitar.
Rates (rates for performances, weddings, parties, and all other events, are the same):
- $150/hr, first hour; $75/hour, each additional hour (1 hr, $150; 2 hr, $225; 3 hr, $300; 4 hr, $375)

- Transportation costs are included for events within 10 miles of Kauwila's residence (Captain Cook). For more distant locations, the charge is $0.35 per mile (based on one-way distance to the event location; for example, if the event were 30 miles away, the transportation charge would be 30 x 0.35 = $10.50).
- For events on neighbor islands, mainland U.S., Alaska, and international, all transportation and lodging costs are the responsibility of the client.

- For the benefit of all, all parties involved are required to sign a contract and pay a 50% deposit, at least 2 weeks prior to the event.
